What is the name for having an excellent memory?

I can remember things from when i was two years old.


I remember details of paintings and photos.


I never forget a face.


I have been told its a sign of genius but i think there is a different name for it.

Reply:I don't know but it is a temporary condition. Not much to be proud of. All of our material qualities come from God and we have nothing to be proud of because He can take them away if we are too proud of them. Can you remember being in the whom of your mother or in your previous lives. Many people have memory of this. There is always someone more intelligent or has more memory or a better singer or whatever. Memory like that isn't a sign of intelligence. You can remember details, but for it to be considered intelligence, you have to know and understand how to apply certain things.





For example, remembering everything that is written on a specific text book page will not help you if you don't understand what it's saying.
