It's an old black and white photo...pretty famous...and they are in the middle of a parade or something. I love the pic and I want to know where I can find it to put on myspace.
What is the name of the old photo of a sailor coming home from war who leans his lady back while kissing her?
According to LIFE magazine where the photo first appeared, it's called "V-J Day Kiss." By the way, the kissers were strangers to each other (can't tell by the photo, though).
As others noted, you can find the photo all over the Web. If you use it, please credit the photographer: Alfred Eisenstaedt.
Reply:Here ya go.....

Reply:VJ Day Times Square Kiss
Reply:I believe that there is no official name for it, other than "Kissing Sailor." If you are looking for a picture of it to put on Myspace, try these links:

Just right click, save the picture onto your computer, and then upload it onto Photobucket or TinyPic.com. From there, it should be easy to insert into your Myspace.
By the way, an interesting tidbit on that picture: The sailor in that picture's name is Glenn Edward McDuffie.
I hope all this helps!
