It's an old black and white photo...pretty famous...and they are in the middle of a parade or something. I love the pic and I want to know where I can find it to put on myspace.

According to LIFE magazine where the photo first appeared, it's called "V-J Day Kiss." By the way, the kissers were strangers to each other (can't tell by the photo, though).

Reply:there are so many all you have to do is type "photo of sailor kissing girl "into your browser. there are 1,777000 sites on yahoo. here is the link for a good one. In 1980 they actually tracked down the sailor. lol the story is there and it's interesting

Just right click, save the picture onto your computer, and then upload it onto Photobucket or TinyPic.com. From there, it should be easy to insert into your Myspace.








By the way, an interesting tidbit on that picture: The sailor in that picture's name is Glenn Edward McDuffie.
