Reply:Depends...if you get something from the relationship even though they hurt you, and they get something from having you around, then it is called Co-dependency. This is seen a lot when you have drug addicts who harm their families by spending all the money on drugs, hitting the wife and kids, losing jobs because of drugging...and then the wife or children will cover up for them and act like everything is fine to put on a show. Or they will give them money and be nice to them when they are hung over. Like a 'can't live with them, can't live without them' thing.
