May be made differently, not sure, but I am trying to think of the name for the pasta casserole that includes ground beef, macoronni, and red sauce. i think it is like an italian name or something.

We always called it goulash, which is different from the real Hungarian goulash. The stuff we had was usually made with Hamburger, elbow macaroni and tomatoes of some kind. Everyone had their own way of making it, some added italian spice, garlic, or chili powder or vegetables like onion, green pepper, celery or corn and made it with either tomato sauce, spagetti sauce, stewed tomatoes, tomato juice, canned tomato soup or canned tomatoes. And some even added cheese.
Then there is the Greek version called Pastitsio which is made with lamb and different spices and has a white sauce and tomatoes.
It was always good whaterever way it was made!
